Visit the Castle and look deep into the bottle dungeon. Explore the Cathedral grounds and see the Haunted Tower or climb St Rule's Tower to get a bird's eye view of the town. Go down to the harbour and out to the end of the pier or watch the sailing boats in St Andrews Bay.

There are coastal walks and sandy beaches, seabirds nesting on the cliffs, the Botanic Gardens and Lade Braes walk. The town centre is compact with individual shops and excellent cafes and restaurants. Every step brings a new view, a historic building, a fascinating vista, an architectural feature.
